2007. the year that was. in a couple of hours, i'd be saying farewell to a great year. indeed, it was a very blessed one for me. though i had my fair share of tears and not-so-good moments, i truly consider it one of the best years in my story. from college graduation, taking the nclex, and finally being an RN. going to places i've never seen before and having fun adventures. meeting people who unknowingly changed some of my perspectives in life. feeling the butterflies and all that jazz. spending more quality time with my family. being with people i cherish. having true friends who are always there, either physically or in spirit (^_^). learning valuable life lessons. and the list goes on.

awww. i'll surely miss 2007. but now, i'm certainly ready to embrace 2008. with open arms and open eyes. hopefully, it is a good year as well. who knows? it could be a better, greater, happier, and more blessed one.

not my day. his charm worked only halfway. hehe. i don't know. wala lang cguro ako sa mood.

hoping to turn things around, i decided to treat myself and watch across the universe. i've been wanting to see this because of the trailer and clips. i think it's overrated though. pero since it's a musical piece [beatlemania!], na-enjoy ko na rin sya. hehe.

after that, i bought colbie caillat's coco. haha! addictus.

i wanted to have a big-bang kind of thing as my first post for the new year. but what the heck, i like it more when i just type whatever comes out of my mind. they call it spontaneity. which i apparently somehow lacked. in the year that has passed, at least.

and yup! 2006 is now officially in the pages of our history. it was a great year. really treated me well. good times. bad times. and everything in between. memories that i definitely treasure. and lessons that i have learned as well. there's a lot to mention, indeed. and it would take me hours, or even days and weeks to recall them. now, 2007 is here. time for rebirth: improve. reorganize. upgrade. new experiences, new adventures.

i am not really a fan of having resolutions for the new year, though. whatever happens, happens. but when i come to think of it, i do make them every single year. magiging mas ganun ako, mas magiging ganito. ayoko ng ganyan, gusto ko nito. i just don't consider them as big promises to myself. o well... what are they? hmmm... i guess i'll keep them to myself na lang. hehe.

so welcome 2007! it has only been a week. exciting? heck yeah! happy? hmmm... more like ecstatic! hehe. err. parang kulang pa rin. perhaps euphoric?! haha! *ding-dong* day 1 pa lang full of surprises na. weee! just can't wait what this year has in store for me... hope it's extra bigger than last year!
